Routíni ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.
Our Privacy Commitment
We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data or habit tracking information. Routíni is designed with privacy as a core principle.
How Routíni Works
Routíni stores all your data directly in your personal Google Drive account:
- Your habit data is saved in Google Sheets files in your own Google Drive
- Your routine configurations are stored locally on your device
- We never see, access, or store your habit tracking data on our servers
- We do not have servers that store user data
Google Account Authentication
Routíni uses Google Sign-In to authenticate you and access Google Sheets on your behalf. When you sign in:
- We request permission to create and edit spreadsheets in your Google Drive
- We request permission to view spreadsheets we created
- Your Google credentials are handled entirely by Google's secure authentication system
- We never see or store your Google password
Data We Access
With your permission, Routíni accesses:
- Google Sheets: To create, read, and write to spreadsheets that store your habit data
- Google Drive (limited): To search for existing Routíni spreadsheets in your Drive
This access is used solely to sync your habit tracking data and is only active when you're using the app.
Data Stored on Your Device
Routíni stores the following locally on your device:
- Your routine configurations (habit names, emojis, types)
- A local cache of your recent entries for offline access
- Your preferences and settings
- Google authentication tokens (managed securely by the operating system)
Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data. Your habit information exists only in:
- Your Google Drive (as Google Sheets)
- Your local device storage
Analytics and Tracking
Routíni does not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or advertising networks. We do not track your usage patterns or behavior.
Children's Privacy
Routíni is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Data Deletion
Since we don't store your data:
- To delete your habit data, delete the Routíni spreadsheet from your Google Drive
- To remove local data, sign out of the app or delete the app from your device
- To revoke Routíni's access to your Google account, visit your Google Account permissions
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
